A case of fraud and check bounce was registered against the actress and Karunal in the Ranchi Civil Court.

On the complaint of the film producer Ajay Kumar, the court summoned the actress and her business partner several times, but both did not appear, while the next hearing of the case will be held on April 15.

According to the details in the complaint, Amisha Patel and her partner took Rs 25 million from the producer to make a film ‘Desi Magic’ and they assured to return the money with interest.

‘Desi Magic’ was supposed to start shooting in 2013 but was not released until 2023, the producer demanded a refund from the actress and her partner.

Ajay Kumar was given checks for the amount by the actress and her partner but both the checks bounced.
